WHAT IS CHORIZO CULAR?
Somalo Chorizo Cular is made from select cuts of Spanish pork seasoned with smoky paprika (pimentón), garlic, and salt. Packed into a natural cular casing, it undergoes a slow, natural maturation in La Rioja’s ideal curing climate. The result is a robust, deeply flavored chorizo with a signature paprika warmth, rich marbling, and a firm, satisfying texture. Each piece reflects more than a century of Martínez Somalo’s charcuterie expertise.
HOW TO SERVE CHORIZO CULAR?
Serve the Chorizo Cular sliced thinly to highlight its smoky aroma and velvety texture. Bring it to room temperature for full flavor, then pair it with crusty bread, aged cheeses, or classic Spanish tapas. HOW TO STORE CHORIZO CULAR?
Our Chorizo Cular comes vacuum packed in 1.2kg pieces. Keep refrigerated between 0 and 6 ºC. Keep in the refrigerator. Once opened, wrap tightly when stored and use within 1 month.
