A well balanced and versatile extra virgin olive oil produced in Cordoba by Marques de Priego at an unbeatable price, so you will have the best value for money you can get when it comes to bigger formats. It is a deep golden oil, brimming with a fresh, sweet, fruity aroma. It is our family’s personal favourite and the best seller of all our olive oils. Think of Senorio as you would a full bodied and delicious red wine. If you are tired of the usual brands you find on the supermarket shelf, look no further. You will start to wonder why you put up with inferior products before. The master taster at Marques de Priego, has drawn from the rich variety of olives available in the historic Priego de Cordoba region of Andalucia and blended fresh pressed juice from two types of olives. The oils he blends are Picudo, a fresh, fruity oil and Picual, a peppery, bold oil. The result is a warm and complex flavour profile, with the perfect balance of fruity, herbal and peppery accents, therefore avoiding the flavour limitations of a single fruit olive oil.

Senorio de la Mesa is a wonderful way to begin savouring the many flavours of olive oil from Spain. Actually, we use Senorio extra virgin olive oil for everything…from frying, to sauteeing, to making sauces such as ali oli. Most of all, it is great in crisp green salads or drizzling on crusty bread.

Ajoblanco is a cold almond soup, known as the ‘white gazpacho’ and typical of Andalucian gastronomy. It’s origin is either Roman or Greek but depending on where you are in Andalucia, each county or village claims its invention and dispute the right way of preparing it.
