WHAT ARE TIGER PRAWNS?

Our frozen whole tiger prawns are like no other prawn you have ever eaten! These prawns are great to cook on the bbq as the shell keeps the meat juicy or simply eat them boiled with some mayonnaise and create some fun when peeling them at the dinner table. They’re individually frozen, so you don’t have to take the whole box to defrost.

These prawns are excellent cooked in olive oil, garlic and chilli for an authentic gambas pil pil tapas dish. They have a meaty texture after defrosting and easy to shell and de-vein. Cook them on the grill with garlic butter, in pasta or rice dishes, curries, stir fries or any Asian style cooking, they are brilliant!

HOW MANY TIGER PRAWNS DO I GET WITH MY ORDER?

Each box contains between 15-25 prawns. Whole and head on, they are individually quick frozen on the boats to ensure their freshness and packaged in 1Kg boxes.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY SANLUCAR PRAWNS?

You will receive one frozen box of tiger prawns delivered in ice packs. If you are not using the prawns straight away, store in the freezer. If you are, then you will need to thaw it in the fridge for at least 4 hours before cooking.
