    Ingredients

    • 50ml Alvear Oloroso
    • 1 large free-range egg
    • 1 tsp of caster sugar
    • A pinch of cayenne pepper
    • Lemon peel to garnish

    This is a delicious and simple sherry cocktail to make. I took the recipe from Harry Craddock’s Savoy Cocktail book. The blend of whole shaken egg and aged oloroso is incredible whilst a touch of cayenne pepper gives body and spice to the drink. A must try!

    Method

    1. Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
