La Chinata venison pate with Pedro Ximenez is a delicious and healthy pate that combines the exquisite taste of venison, a classic in the gourmet world, with Pedro Ximenez sherry, a velvety-sweet sherry used very often in Mediterranean cooking.
This pate is highly recommended as a snack, as part of tapas or with a selection of cured meats and cheeses. Just spread on toasted bread, as it has a very soft and tasty texture, or with our Mallorcan rosemary biscuits.

The history of La Chinata goes back to 1932, when their ancestors began to process the olives of the region; the Sierra de Gata. At that time, oil was obtained from very rudimentary oil mills. The olives were crushed in the stone mills or stones and a paste was obtained that later was introduced in a press to extract the olive oil. Layers of paste were formed separated by circular plates known as the straws, which were placed in a press, and pressing olive oil was obtained. Afterwards, the oil was decanted to separate the vegetable water, which is what was called water and the remains of olives.
Today, they have the most modern crushing and pressing systems, which, even though they are purely mechanical, can extract much more oil from the olives, in a clean and controlled way, to guarantee the quality of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Similarly, aware of the growing concern of consumers to eat healthy and natural foods, they have been manufacturing a line of high-end products for several years that they include under the brand "La Chinata Selecciones de Gourmets". These are mainly flavoured oils or products with oils added.
