WHAT IS IBERICO PORK BELLY?
Iberico Pork Belly comes from the underside of the Spanish Pata Negra pigs. The belly is naturally fattier than most other cuts and rich in nutty flavour from the pigs’ acorn-rich diet. Please note that the Iberico pork belly is fatter than the average pork belly.
Iberico pork comes from free-range Iberico pigs indigenous to Spain. They live an ideal life rooting for acorns under cork and holm oak trees. Their diet provides a complex flavour and a fat that literally melts in your mouth. The exercise provides the beautiful marbling that distinguishes Iberico pork from any other.
HOW TO COOK IBERICO PORK BELLY?
Ideal for a slow cooked weekend roast…that’s it! If there is any leftovers, cut into cubes and toss in a hot wok for a quick midweek stir-fry.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY IBERICO PORK BELLY?
You will receive one frozen vac pac of iberico pork belly delivered on ice pads. If you are not using the pork belly straight away, store in the freezer. If you are, then you will need to thaw it in the fridge for at least 24 hours before cooking.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WEIGHTS CAN VARY FROM PORK BELLY TO PORK BELLY, SO EXPECT A SLIGHT VARIATION ON THE THE WEIGHT OF YOUR IBERICO PORK BELLY.
