At Basco, we have curated the ultimate BBQ box with some of the best Barbecue ingredients that we stock. Our ultimate BBQ box is the perfect selection for 2 to 4 people to share and makes it the ideal gift for any Spanish food lover or BBQ friend in your life.

The box contains a whole rib steak from old cow beef by one of the best steak restaurants in the world El Capricho. This steak is sublime when cooked on the BBQ but make sure you bring to room temperature before cooking.

One box of our best selling red carabinero prawns, one of the most sought after prawns in professional kitchens worldwide, beautiful Carabineros are a large deep-sea red prawn species that hail from Eastern Atlantic into the Mediterranean Sea.

One pack of secreto iberico pork, which is a part of the top extreme of the loin’s top. In the traditional quartering of meat it is united to the loin’s fat or ‘hoja de tocino’. Sizzle this thin cut on the grill and the fat will immediately start to melt away, bathing the pork in lovely acorn flavoured juiciness. Iberico pork is famed for its beautiful marbling and no other cut displays this more deliciously than the secreto.

One pack of chistorra sausage from Navarra, a thinh sausage flavoured with garlic, salt and paprika and that works wonders when cooked on the BBQ.

We have also added one pack of Añana salt flakes from the Basque Country, so you can season your meats and prawns with the most amazing flavour these exquisite products deserve.

Finally, we have paired the box with one bottle of Valduero Una Cepa, a complex and balanced wine, that offers a perfect blend of fruit and wood with delightful aromas of toast and vanilla, wild red fruit and leather, spices and lavender. Well-structured in the mouth with a perfect combination of alcohol and acidity, it has a fine elegant finish just as you would expect from a splendid example of a great Ribera del Duero red wine.

You will receive all your ingredients in a chilled box delivered with ice pads. Please note that the rib steak, secreto iberico and carabinero prawns will arrive frozen. Defrost for 24 hours in the fridge before cooking. Please note that weights can vary from pack to pack, so expect a slight variation on the weight of your secreto pork and El Capricho old cow steak.
