Description
La Chinata chilli seasoning is perfect for those who like intense and spicy flavours. It is made with the best EVOO from La Chinata, macerated with a selection of high quality chilli peppers that bring a great aroma and flavour to any dish.
It is recommended especially for cold or low temperature consumption, to maintain its properties and aroma, but can be drizzled over hot dishes as a finish such as pasta dishes.
It brings great taste to pasta dishes, salads, prawns, fresh cheeses, vegetables and chicken, but it can be used in many more dishes to give that extra kick.
It should be noted that the chilli pepper is a great antioxidant and reinforces our defenses and even helps to heal wounds. It also helps with the absorption of iron in the body and has a high content of minerals, especially phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, calcium, folic acid and beta-carotene. The Source
La Chinata
The history of La Chinata dates back to 1932, when the company began milling olives in the Sierra de Gata (Extrademura).
Originally layers of paste were formed, separated by circular plates known as ‘capachos’, which were placed in a press, and the olive oil was obtained by pressing. Nowadays, they have the most modern milling and pressing systems, which, although they are purely mechanical, can extract much more oil from the olives, in a clean and controlled way, to guarantee the quality of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
They have also ventured into other products such as honey, mayonnaise and pates.
