Description
Our artisan quince paste is made from 100% natural membrillo made using only quince, sugar and a touch of lemon. Compared to the ‘Dulce de Membrillo’ which uses a starch based filler to produce a less strong flavour, this membrillo has an intense colour; deep, rich quince flavour and a thick, creamy consistency.
Our quince paste can be cut into thin slices and spread over toasted bread or sandwiches, plain or with cheese, often served for breakfast or as a snack, with manchego cheese or any hard cured cheese. It is very often used to stuff pastries.
