One bottle of Murillo Viteri Rioja Reserva 2010 – A limited production Rioja Reserva from Bodegas Murillo Viteri, a 5th generation family winery located in the heart of Rioja. Full bodied and muscular, yet smoothly polished and embellished with complex aromas of vanilla and toasted oak, combined with summer fruit flavours. The perfect wine pairing to a classic roast turkey, lamb or beef.

One bottle of Alvear Pedro Ximenez 1927 – A sweet sherry made from Pedro Ximenez grapes which are naturally sun-dried and aged in American oak barrels following the traditional soleras y criaderas system of sediment rotation for five years. This sherry has a rich nose of prunes, coffee and chocolate. On the palate it is a sumptuous wine of great intensity, rich concentrated raisins, succulent with a seemingly unending finish. This is the right wine to end a Christmas meal in a marvellous way. Serve it cold with your Christmas pudding or dessert, works well with blue cheese or as an after dinner drink with chocolates.
