WINE TASTING
La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 904 2016 is a benchmark Rioja and a superb expression of traditional long-ageing winemaking. Produced from Tempranillo (90%) with 10% Graciano, the fruit is sourced from select vineyards in Villalba, Briñas, Rodezno and Fuenmayor. The 2016 vintage was described by the winery as outstanding in both quality and quantity, delivering wines with depth, persistence, freshness and beautifully mature tannins.
Aged in American oak barrels crafted by the estate’s own coopers, Gran Reserva 904 is renowned for its elegance, complexity and silky texture. Expect layered aromas of ripe red fruit, balsamic notes, spice and subtle oak, followed by a refined palate with freshness, balance and a long, graceful finish.
FOOD PAIRING.
An ideal wine for the most special occasions and celebrations. Especially recommended with not too spicy meat and fish and chocolate desserts. Ideal as an after-dinner drink.
