In the early 1980s Iñaki Petralanda Uria Zearra was finding it difficult to find a reliable source of good wines for his restaurant in Bilbao, so he decided to make his own. Establishing a winery in his wife's home town of Fuenmayor in the heart of Rioja Alta in 1983, he hasn't looked back and now runs a thriving bodega.
Ideal as an aperitif at any time. Goes well with Iberian ham, seafood, fish in sauce, risottos, poultry, smoked food, foie-gras, white and red meat and semi-cured cheeses.
