Made from the same recipe for over 140 years, these farmhouse style sausages are simply flavoured with sea salt and ground black pepper, allowing the full flavour of the free-range pork to come through. You can cook botifarra on the grill, use it as a breakfast sausage, or add to traditional stews and soups. Botifarra is the main ingredient when preparing Escudella Catalana, a traditional Catalan stew.
Our sausage maker Casa Noguera chops full cuts of pork by hand and does not use scraps or offal, making this the finest botifarra in the UK. Top quality black pepper and sea salt from Spain are the only seasoning used. There are no preservatives or artificial colours used in this sausage, it is 100% natural.
This artisan sausage is made by hand, tying each sausage before they slowly poach in hot water at a temperature of 80°C for 45 minutes. This cooking methods removes all the fat content from the sausage, making the lightest sausage in the market!

Few years later, in 1884, the high quality of their production and elaboration made them become Royal Home suppliers and carry ever since The Royal Warrant.
Today, Casa Noguera is written by the fifth family generation from a village named Igualada (Anoia) with the same passion, dedication and commitment for the well done work adding a constant innovative spirit to it.
