Agusti Torello Mata Brut Reserva is a ligth straw colour with green hues. This cava has slow-evolving fine and persistent bubbles with good bead formation. Clean and very fruity with an apple touch and caramel notes against a mint and balmy background of fresh herbs. The finish is elegant and balanced, fruity and fresh with ripe apple and syrup notes. Very well-integrated bubbles with an excellent sugar-acidity balance. Long and delicate aftertaste. Minimum ageing 24 months per month. Limited production with numbered bottles.
As an aperitif. Also perfect to accompany ham, cured meats and sausages, seafood, fish with sauce, rice, poultry, meats, semi cured cheeses and desserts.

Agusti Torello Mata was born into a dynasty of tailors and musicians, but went into the world of cava at a very young age, a world that turned into his profession and his passion. Pioneering, passionate and tireless, he created in 1953 the first wine analysis laboratory in the industry, managed important wineries in the Penedes region and set up his own cava winery in 1959. Due to his enthusiasm and vision of the viticulture industry, he soon became a reference point in the internationalization of cava. It is in this spirit that he fostered the creation of the Cava Guild, which acknowledged his work by appointing him President of Honour some years ago.
